The 3 Cs of International Women’s Day at C3 Communications Connection, Collaboration and Celebration
This year the theme of International Women’s Day is ‘Give to Gain’ focusing on generosity and collaboration, both of which are at the heart of C3 Communications.
For us, that shows up in three ways; connection, collaboration and celebration.

Case Study: Immersa stakeholder and community engagement project
C3 worked with Immersa to carry out stakeholder analysis and develop a targeted programme of engagement to reach key stakeholders and maximise the possibility of a positive outcome.

Case Study: Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington low carbon energy engagement project
Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is an economic development organisation with a vision to be the healthiest, most sustainable, inclusive and growing economy in the UK.
One of their key focus areas is the development of the region as a low carbon energy hub and, as part of this work, they wanted to gain a clear understanding of how people felt about the low carbon projects being undertaken in the region.

Powering the Future - What the Fingleton Report Means for Nuclear in the UK
We think this report is a major strategic turning point for the industry, affecting not only nuclear policy but also the fundamental way that industry, government, and stakeholders work together on key issues such as risk, safety, and investment.

The Advanced Nuclear Framework: A Defining Moment for the Sector?
Last week saw the publication of the long-awaited Advanced Nuclear Framework, a significant policy step and another sign of the government’s commitment to new nuclear development. In this blog, our Co-Founder Saranne shares her thoughts.

Redefining Engagement: The Path to Successful Development in Fusion
Fusion is an exciting technology with major potential to be a game-changing energy source – it really is science fiction made real! And this provides a unique opportunity, with conversations often starting from a place of interest, intrigue, or excitement.
But, while this is exciting, it is also unknown. People may be curious and concerned about fusion at the same time, however these early days are the perfect time to address people’s concerns and secure buy-in.

Case Study: Mona Offshore Wind Project
Our first big project as C3 Communications, Pippa's role was central through the examination, working closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues across bpEnBW.

Case Study: newcleo
C3 Communications worked with newcleo’s project team from August 2023 until the suspension of the UK project was announced in July 2025.

Case Study: STEP Fusion

Rules of Engagement: doing what's required vs doing what's right
Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching, so the saying goes.
With changes expected to The Planning Act 2008 around the requirements for engagement, this will be a useful mantra for energy and infrastructure leaders to keep in mind.

Redefining Engagement: the C3 Communications mission
“Communities are at the heart of the government’s mission to make Britain a clean energy superpower."
Secretary of State for Energy Security & Net Zero, Ed Miliband, highlighted the importance of community engagement in his Statement of Strategic Priorities to Great British Energy.
At C3 Communications, this is a subject very close to our hearts. So, we thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce ourselves and, more importantly, the mission driving our work.
